Augusta Country Club
One of Augusta's oldest private courses, the Augusta Country
Club is the next-door neighbor to the Augusta National Golf Club, home
of the Masters!
The
Club at Jones Creek
Since
opening in 1986, the Club at Jones Creek has provided the public an outstanding
golf course with the amenities traditionally found at only the finest
private clubs. Jones Creek has become a fixture among Georgia's top 10
courses and is ranked by Golf Digest as one of the nation's premier public
golf facilities reflecting the Augusta golf legacy of design, service
and location. Upon arriving at the stately clubhouse you will know that
you have found a very special place. Renowned golf course architect, Rees
Jones preserved the landscape, vegetation, and foliage native to the property.
Thus resulting in a 7,000 yard, par 72 course of outstanding golf holes
scattered gracefully through centuries of old oak and pine forests. The
dramatic terrain, streams and lakes on the course offer a challenge for
all.
Mount
Vintage Plantation
It
was the talk of the town during Masters 2000. One of America's best golf
courses has been built in North Augusta, SC and it's open for play.

if being inspired by its highly acclaimed neighbor, the Augusta National
Golf Club 12 miles away, Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club is a golf
course that blends some of nature’s most beautiful handiwork with some
of man’s most creative applications for the sport of golf. The course
is an inspired, championship layout by Architect Tom Jackson that delivers
the rare combination of being scenic, challenging, diverse and yet fun
to play for all levels of golfers.
The
River Golf Club
Set along the banks of the Savannah River, The River Golf Club is rapidly
establishing itself as one of the premier new course designs in the Southeast.
The River Golf Club course combines a fantastic layout with a spectacular
setting to create a golfers paradise. Designed by internationally
acclaimed golf course architect Jim Fazio, The River Golf Club offers
a unique setting which includes large bent grass greens, numerous lakes,
wetlands and dramatic bunkers. Designed with true golfers in mind
of all levels, The River Golf Club offers five sets of tees, a challenging
but fair layout and all the amenities to ensure a memorable golf experience.
Woodside
Plantation
In
an exquisite region in the South Carolina countryside rests a rare jewel
of a community where glorious living is revered and nature is respected.
Enjoy the spirit of the game at Woodside Plantation. A trio of championship
golf courses makes our community a haven for those who love the game -
The Nicklaus Design Course in the Reserve at Woodside Plantation, Bob
Cupp's Plantation Golf Course, and Rees Jones' Wisteria Course. A nine-hole
par 3 course is a wonderful place for an abbreviated escape. The 140 yard
wide driving range and quartet of practice greens complete with sand bunkers
and a chipping area assure each member the opportunity to grow in the
game.
Palmetto Golf Club
Palmetto Golf Club
is relatively small by most golf course standards.
It ‘s only been in the last 10 years that the club has had a resident
membership that reached three digits (it now has 344 members and from
the back trees the course measures 6,380 yards.
That’s peanuts by today’s longer than long standards.
But what Palmetto lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality
– in spades. There just aren’t many places that are more friendly, beautiful
and charming than this very old Aiken club.
